Responses to consultations, published in full alongside whatever response they receive.
Regulatory Watch
SASFA is not the regulator and does not speak for one. What it can usefully do is explain regulatory developments in plain language, answering the same five questions each time: what changed, who it affects, and what it means for players, for operators and for technology providers.
The annual report
The intention is an annual State of Online Gambling in South Africa report covering what players understand, how products behave, and how the technology underneath is changing. It is a substantial undertaking and will be published when the underlying research supports it, not before.
Status: no publications yet. SASFA has not published research and this page lists no reports because none exist. When they are published they will appear here with authors, dates, methodology and the data where it can be shared. Researchers interested in collaborating are welcome to get in touch.
