SASFA, South African Software Fairplay Audit

Status reviewed 5 November 2026

SASFA is a laboratory in establishment

SASFA is not yet SANAS-accredited or licensed as a national testing agent. It does not currently issue statutory test reports, NRCS Letters of Certification or provincial approvals.

What is true today

The intended institution is a South African testing laboratory dedicated to online bookmaker wagering and record-keeping software. Work now centres on the technical scope, methods, quality system, competence, impartiality and regulatory pathway needed to reach that position.

Discussions with a gambling board, regulator, standards body or industry participant are not presented as recognition or endorsement. A body will be named only where the status is public or permission has been given.
